I shoot RAW all the time haha. It’s the sensor…it just doesn’t cut it. So now I’m just waitin’ for the D7100 and saving up some money on the way

@ Calvin: Meh, I’d be lucky to get $300 for my D3000. There won’t be any money left over if I got a D40. It’s cool, I’m just gonna wait it out and keep my D3000 as a backup or beater probably.

save up for something bigger! my boyfriend has a d200 and he works with a d300s, older, but it’s so worth it
Eh, I think D7000-line is about as high as I need to go. I’m not planning on becoming a professional, so for the purpose of pursuing a hobby a D7100 would probably suffice.
yeah i heard even the D40 handles better than the D3000. shucks, but D7000 is definitely something. D7100 might be announced this summer, so i might wait a bit for a price drop
I know right? That’s why I’m so butthurt. Everyone talks so highly about the D40 and I’m stuck with a piece of crap. Man, I was so excited about that D7100 rumor a few weeks ago…
I really dislike my D3000.
The way it handles high ISO / low light just doesn’t cut it. I consciously try to limit myself to ISO 800 because anything above that just looks hideously grainy. Not to mention that it maxes out at Hi 1 = 3200 anyways. And by limiting my ISO I’m just asking for shaky shots and motion blur. Oh yeah, the scale only goes up by 1 stop at a time as well .___. This is the most annoying thing about my camera body and the #1 reason I’m waiting dearly on a D7000 replacement to drop. I’ll be on that ASAP when it does.
I’d say that we’re perfect, but in the sense that she’s perfect for me and I’m perfect for her. We have this weird connection between us that allows us to just be ourselves and enjoy every second we spend together. There may have been some moments where we’ve been upset with each other, but so far we’ve yet to have a real fight in these past 5.5 months :) It’s just a matter of finding the right person and letting everything fall into place ^_^
If you asked her though, I think she’d say something along the lines of, “no relationship is perfect; it’s all effort, trust, and love. i love him and we just happen to have a real good thing. none can compare.” Just my guess :P
